MAR Leadership
Our goal
The Leadership in the Mesoamerican Reef System project, which covers Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and Guatemala, develops the talent of agents designing or implementing high-impact conservation and socio-environmental development projects in the ecoregion. Since 2021, SAM Leadership has been a partner of MAR+Invest. This financial and business development mechanism seeks to attract private capital to develop and finance market-based solutions with a positive impact on the reefs of the Mesoamerican Reef System.
