Mesoamerican Reef Leadership Program

The Mesoamerican Reef Leadership Program, founded in 2010 by Fondo Mexicano para la Conservación de la Naturaleza, A.C. (FMCN) with the support of The Summit Foundation, seeks to accelerate conservation impacts in the Mesoamerican Reef ecoregion to develop capacities and empower the talent of young conservationists to design and implement high-impact conservation projects.

Kaanbal Suut

Initiative created in 2021 by Fondo Mexicano para la Conservación de la Naturaleza, A.C. (FMCN) with the support of The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Kaanbal Suut seeks to strengthen the institutional capacities and the leadership of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to conserve and manage natural resources sustainably at the regional level, through the combination of topics, approaches and learning methodologies.

Kanan Kay Alliance

Intersectoral collaboration initiative created in 2011 with the objective of establishing an effective network of fishing refuge areas that protect the waters of the Mexican Caribbean territorial sea and contribute to the recovery of artisanal fisheries that are overexploited.
