MAR Leadership
Our goal
The Leadership in the Mesoamerican Reef System (L-SAM) project encompasses Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and Guatemala, and is focused on nurturing the talents of individuals who design or implement high-impact conservation and socio-environmental development initiatives throughout the region. Since 2021, L-SAM has partnered with MAR+Invest—a financial and business development platform designed to attract private capital for market-based solutions that positively impact the Mesoamerican Reef System.
